The date has been set – from 30th November 2019.
More information to follow, but here is a taste:
Even though summer feels a long way off, Stand Up Paddle WA are already getting primed for the 2019 King of The Cut! This iconic event will again be held on one of the world’s best downwind runs, from the Dawsville Cut near Mandurah, to either Halls Head or Secret Harbour, your choice of 12km of primo downwinding or you can kick on into the more challenging 24km run on either foil or paddle SUPs, prone paddle boards and OC1s.
Here’s some good stuff to get you planning; race day is Saturday the 30th of November. There will be a week of downwinding along the12km race course leading-up to race day with the opportunity to log your times for each run and maybe pick-up some prizes. For the big one, $1,000 each to the first male and female who cross the finish of the King of The Cut 24 course, on any length SUP (except a foil board!). Quality prizes for the first girls and guys on 14 foot SUPs who cross the finish of the King of The Cut 24 or the King of The Cut 12 courses. Paddle clinics from the pros, the famous Stoke party and a great presentation night.
More details to come, including when the entries will open. We can’t wait to see all you downwind fans flying down this great coastline!
