The Aloha Spirit Award is a special award to the person the SUP community feels represents the values of SUP in WA.
Duke Kahanamoku was a Hawiian legend credited with spreading surfing around the world. He was also a 5 times Olympic medalist, but more so, was regarded as the embodiment of “Aloha Spirit” – acceptence and kindness, working to grow our sport without personal gain.
